Amy Borell - CAKE WITH GIANTS
These whimisical illustrations are from Amy Borrell. This little fella holding a ballon sky reminds me of my favourite childrens book The Little Prince. Big dreams, dream big. You can find more of these lovely little moments on her blog cake with giants or if you would like to put it on your wall go to her shop. I love the name of her blog, although I'm not sure how much cake you'd end up getting, when your sharing it with a giant.

Ring | The r.e.a.l Store
This beautiful ring crafted by Virginia Aland can be found at the real store. This store has a manifesto; I like that, its very 1940's Dada of them. In fact I think all stores should be required to produce a manifesto, that no-one will read. I did read it however and I don't mean to sound negative as I think it's pretty awesome that they are promoting sustainable designers and supporting important causes. Your awesome real store (sorry about the manifesto joke). Anyway back to Virgina Aland and her jewellery. She uses a three thousand year old Egyptian technique called Faience, in which she uses "a secret paste mix of clay, glazes and oxides which she sun-bakes then fires to produce each handmade bead in her home studio on the South Coast of NSW." I have a very particular image of this as my family is living on the South Coast, not alot of Faience going on but Virginia is making enough for all of us. I think this ring would make an excellent first mothers day present. Remind me to encourage my husband to subsribe to this blog. :)

These John Robshaw fabrics are really beautiful and it's not often you find a site that stocks a selection of turbans. It kinda reminds me of the J. Peterman character from Seinfield and I can image John Robshaw speaking of the exotic adventures that inspires his fabrics. "That reminds me of the time I was trekking in the jungles of India and a young boy placed a fragment of material in the palm of my hand and smiled at me. Now that is where I found the inspiration for the bahama Kurta shirt, in mens sizes 8 through to 16."

Such beautiful things! Louis has the pirates on his wall. I love the dress up dolls (sigh, had a boy) I'm not a huge fan of decals for adult living spaces, that kinda makes it sound dirty but you know what I mean. The kids ones however are super cute. They're Australian made, non-toxic and you can reposition them as many times as it takes your fancy. They also do other cool stuff like wrapping paper and such.

How are these tasty little morsels? I'm loving these miniature food sculptures and using them as inspiration for my next diet. It is after all, all about portion sizes. DUNLIN™ — Hand Blown Glass Hanging Terrarium with Sisal Rope
I love these teardrop shaped terrariums. I have already bought one in my mind, now, what to plant?Air plants or some kind of tiny cactus. They measure 20/32cm so a bit snuggly in space for any larger plant. What it lacks in glass space it seems to make up in its rope length, which measures at 2.4 metres. You can find these at the beautiful online homewares store Dunlin.

SHIP & SHAPE — Bright Silver Triangle Earrings
